Empowering the youth of Dhubri with skills for a brighter future
Our Vocational Training Programme aims to address the critical issue of youth unemployment in Dhubri district by providing market-relevant skills training to young men and women aged 18-35 years. Through this initiative, we empower unemployed youth with practical skills that enhance their employability and enable them to become self-reliant.
Since its inception in 2010, the programme has successfully trained over 1,200 youth, with more than 65% securing employment or starting their own small businesses. We collaborate with local industries and government schemes to ensure our training modules align with current market demands.
3-month course covering fundamental computer skills, MS Office, internet usage, and basic accounting software
6-month comprehensive training in cutting, stitching, embroidery, and fashion design principles
4-month course covering domestic electrical wiring, repair, and maintenance with safety certification
3-month hands-on training in smartphone hardware and software troubleshooting and repair
4-month course in food preservation, bakery, snack preparation, and small-scale catering business management
5-month training in skincare, haircare, makeup artistry, and salon management
