Success Stories

Rescued from Child Marriage: Riya's Story

When CHILDLINE 1098 received an anonymous tip about 14-year-old Riya being forced into marriage, our team immediately intervened. We worked with local authorities to stop the wedding and provided counseling to Riya's parents about the legal consequences of child marriage.

Today, Riya is back in school and dreams of becoming a teacher. Her parents have become advocates against child marriage in their community.

From Street to School: Amit's Journey

Amit was found begging at Dhubri railway station when a concerned citizen called 1098. Our team rescued him and discovered he had run away from home after his parents' death.

After months of counseling and rehabilitation at our Child Care Institute, Amit was reunited with his extended family. We enrolled him in school and continue to support his education through our sponsorship program.
