HISTORY OF THE ORGANIZATION:-
Fulkumari Bapuji Club is a non-governmental organization. It is a Voluntary Organization, the organization is located at about 3 K.M away from District Head quarters , Dhubri, Assam. The Dhubri district is at the North bank of the river Brahmaputra and located in the border area of West Bengal and Bangladesh. The people of Dhubri district is mainly coming from below poverty line and most of the people are illiterate . In this connection our organization was established in the year 1993 with the initiative of some dedicated people for the help of poor , uneducated youth, women and the Children of our District.

15) OUR VISION:- Fulkumari Bapuji Club’s vision is humanity, education , tolerance and social justice, where women and children and the disadvantaged grassroots population live with dignity, security and justice.
16) OUR MISSION:- Building and enhancing core socio-economic competencies of grassroots communities with the aim of bringing the rural poor communities especially the vulnerable sections from the margins to the mainstream of development.
17) ACTIVITIES OF THE ORGANIZATION:- The Fulkumari Bapuji Club has been implemented various projects under the State and Central Govt. The projects like CHILDLINE-1098 Service , Targeted Intervention on HIV/AIDS, Child Care Institution, Senior Citizen Home, Swadhar Greh , Family Counseling Center, National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language, Skill Development Scheme for Women and others backward classes. The organization is run Access To Justice For Children Project with the support from Kailash Satyarthi Childrens Foundation . This project is mainly works on the issues of Child Marriage, Child Trafficking and Child Sexual Abuse.
19) OPERATIONAL AREA OF THE ORGANIZATION: – Our target area, covers the entire the State of Assam, but we works at Dhubri and Goalpara district. The Dhubri district is situated at the North bank of the river Brahmaputra and located in the border area of West Bengal and Bangladesh. On the other hand Goalpara is in the east of Dhubri district. There are 11 nos. of Development Blocks in the district and nearly 900 revenue villages under the Dhubri district. Besides, the organization implemented projects in the border area of Assam covering the Dhubri district. Our organization is located in the G.T.B Road, W/No.9 of Dhubri Town, which is situated in the border place of Assam. The border area of two states is very interior from all sides and the people of these areas are deprived from Govt. sponsored development activities, Voluntary efforts of Non-Govt. organization etc. In this area, The FBC is the only Voluntary organization for rendering continuous service for the poverty needy, children, women and older persons. There are 8 nos. of Development Blocks in the Goalpara district and near about 859nos villages in the Goalpara district. In Goalpara district our organization is locate at Aurona Path Bhalukdubi (Near Nirmala Hospital), Goalpara.
